Class 1 Day Driver

My Thame based client is looking for a Class 1 Driver to join their team. Reporting to the Transport Manager duties will include collecting and delivering freight. The majority of the work will be loaded or unloaded using forklift trucks but there might still be an element of electric pallet trucks work required. There will also be an element of physical work when making some deliveries. CPC C1 qualification required. You will ensure all health and safety regulations are met and be proactive in ensuring your CPC training is up to date (paid for by our client). Good communication skills will be expected, and any issues will need to be raised through the appropriate channels in a professional manner. Previous experience of at least one year driving a class 1 vehicle and experience working night shifts would be preferred but not essential. Working hours are 45 per week Monday - Friday 4.30am-2.30pm with an hour lunch break. Paid overtime Saturday mornings 4am - 12 once per month. Salary 34-37K depending on experience with 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
