Class 2 Driver

My Thame based client is looking for a Class 2 Driver to join their team. Reporting to the Transport Manager duties will include regular driving for their local palletised collect and deliver work. You would be using the same vehicle and the same routes regularly but there will be a requirement of flexibility to support business needs. There will also be an element of physical work when making some deliveries. CPC Cat C qualification required with at least 12 months experience driving a Class 2 vehicle. You will ensure all health and safety regulations are met and be proactive in ensuring your CPC training is up to date (paid for by our client). Good communication skills will be expected, and any issues will need to be raised through the appropriate channels in a professional manner. Working hours are 45 per week Monday to Friday. Hours 7.30am to 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch. Contracted overtime Saturday mornings 7am - 1pm once per month. Salary 30-35K depending on experience with 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
